De restauratie van de Volkswagen K70 heeft plaatsgevonden bij de vestiging van Ames in Zwijndrecht waar de auto is gerestaureerd bij Schadenet Ames en voor onderhoud en technische reparaties bij Ames Autobedrijf. De auto is strak gemaakt en gespoten in zijn oorspronkelijke kleur.
